The Company

Prospect Productions is an Emmy-Award-winning Manhattan-based production company whose work has appeared on ESPNMSNBCCBSMLB Network,,, and The Huffington Post. Founded by brothers Nick and Colin Barnicle, the company has its hand in a myriad of traditional and new media projects and has worked with talent including Robert Redford, Ed Burns, Keith Olbermann, and Pete Hamill. From documentary television to short film essays on a variety of subjects, Prospect Productions continues to evolve as a boutique launching pad for any number of important stories while always remaining committed to one simple mantra: good stories, told well.

The Team

Nick Barnicle


Prior to founding Prospect, Nick worked for David Milch, HBO’s In Treatment, and the Neistat Brothers.  He received his B.A. in English from Georgetown University and has also studied at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Villa LeBalze in Florence, Italy.

Colin Barnicle


A graduate of Georgetown University, Colin worked for the Boston Red Sox before moving on to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and later the Today Show for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. He now lives in New York city and is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post.

Jeff Siegel


A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Jeff has experience working at Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, ABC News, NBC News, and the BBC in London. He wrote and produced the globally distributed independent feature film Hooking Up before joining Prospect Productions in 2010.
